FAMOUS LOCATION
1. Kabukicho
Famous red light district , with some sexually oriented industries as well as nightclubs, izakayas, restaurants, theaters, business hotels, and "love hotels". Although this area may seems a bit seedy, it is generally safe. You can have fun until the late night without feeling worried here.
2. Shin-Okubo (Korea Town) , Okubo (Small China Town)
Shin-Okubo, Tokyo‘s most well-known Korea Town. You can find a lot of Local Korean Cuisines, Groceries and K-POP merchandise here. Besides Koreans and Chinese, others communities from Asia including Vietnamese, Indonesians, Thais and Malaysians are found in Okubo. Therefore, you can find authentic South East Asian cuisine, Asian grocery stores, Indian restaurants and even Halal Shops here.
3. Shinjuku Gyoen
Largest parks in the city. Popular parks which comprised of three different types of gardens. Formerly an Imperial Owned Family Park for recreation, but now had opened for public. It is very famous for Cherry Blossom viewing in the spring as well as autumn when the leaves change.
4. Shinjuku Ni-Chome & Shinjuku San-Chome
Shinjuku Ni-Chome, You may find similar to the Kabukicho Area over here, there are many pubs and bars here, particularly gay bars. Meanwhile, Shinjuku San-Chome has many department stores such as ISETAN, ISETAN Men, IOIO, IOIO Annex, and IOIO Men.
5. Takadanobaba
Neighbouring with Many Language School and Famous Private University "Waseda University" , this area is synonymous with student. Come students, come cheap everything. Expect budget izakaya, bars, cafes and all groceries. Takadanobaba is an area with prominent Southeast Asian Population too.
